Prop 8
I just wanted to say that I'm supporting Proposition 8. Yes--I'm worried about not alienating my friends that are homosexual. Yes--I'm worried about possibly getting discriminated against for my beliefs. Yes--I'm worried about people hating on me, but I feel like this important. It's so rare that the Church makes a statement on things like this, but they're raising this point on this issue because this issue has an affect on the overall morality of society. I can understand how this might be a difficult issue for some, and that the Church's involvement with it might be a difficult issue for some, but I believe that President Monson is a prophet of God, and that this is something that our generation can fight against and win.
